I recently installed some Rival 4x4 skid plates on my 21 ORP. After installing, I realized there is a gap where the stock skids used a plastic (ABS?) cover between the front skid and bumper. Without it, the AC condenser is somewhat exposed. Although the stock one doesn't provide much protection, it does provide a little and maybe manages airflow to the condenser and radiator.

Since there are no options that fit the Rival skid plates, I have decided to make my own.

Here is my first prototype that I designed and cut on my CNC. Fit was ok, just needed a little tweaking. I'm taking the "tabs" off the front (height issue) and widening the holes a tiny bit.
The horizontal holes are where I will place a bend so the bottom edge sits just in front of the skid plate. This will ensure it is pushed downwards in case of a front fender bender rather than into the condenser. I will 3D print little clips to attach to the front of the skid that can just shear off.

Going to make the next one out of acrylic to test on the road but not sure if I should ultimately move to ABS or Aluminum for the final product
