Hello everyone nice to meet everyone! I own a 1995 Toyota 4Runner I bought mine about 19 years ago and I have about 291,000 miles on mine when I bought it had 148,000 on it I’m the second owner. It’s been a great vehicle I really enjoy driving it such fun to drive! I recently had to replace the head gasket’s and the water pump and the timing belt. And I also recently decided to do the EGR delete but now I’m having a little issue with it and I was hoping someone on this forum would be able to help me fix it and guide me on how to get it fixed. When I do a cold start it will run really rough and rich but once it gets up to regular temperature it will run fine and smooth but the cold start problem has me puzzled

How much black smoke comes from the tail pipe when cold? Did it ever cold-start okay with that hot-air intake?

Lifted, tires... in the process of restoration
Where ya from Mark... man Mark you're so close to the 300k club.. like I am. Well with the EGR delete you will run rich with a cold start. Until everything warms up. It is causing misfires or running rough you might have to adjust the idle sensor.
