New 4Runner issues

    I bought a 2023 4Runner new in Jan of 2024 A noise developed at speed about 40mph took it in and the dealership said the front differential had failed this was about 7,000 miles. They did the repair all was good and now at about 15,000 miles the noise is back and the factory wants to change the front differential again. I’m very sure something is taking out the differential and they aren’t sure any help with how to deal with this dealership would be great

    Needle bearing. Google "ECGS bushing", and also, look on YouTube.

    The real failure was the dealership going through all the trouble to replace the front differential with another one that has the same lousy needle bearing. They could save themselves a ton of time and expense by replacing the needle bearing with the ECGS bushing, but try and explain that to a service writer...
