Seeking advice on Rear entertainment screen fix

2005 Blue Limited 4WD 4Runner

I have 2005 4runner Limited that has an Advent brand Rear entertainment system (no idea of this was stock or a feature of the Limited trim).

I've included a picture of the screen which certainly shows its age. I am looking for ideas on how to get rid of the weird dark ring around the screen. I assume this is a form of screen burn but I am not 100% sure. Any ideas are appreciated! I have been researching advent screen replacements but haven't found a concise answer.
