Anyone have issues with the holes on the sliders don’t match exactly with the frame? About half the holes didn’t line up. Called cali raised and they blamed Toyota.

PM @jake long15 from CR. He's all over this forum with Cali Raised products, and should take care of your issue.

    RCI 5-degree rock sliders.
The same thing happened when we installed Cali Raised rock sliders on my son's 4Runner. The passenger side was fine, but the holes on the driver's side slider did not line up. Several of the holes were about 1/4 inch off. We had to do a lot of grinding and then painting for the holes on the slider to match the holes on the frame.

I called Cali Raised and they tried to say the holes on the frame were off. This is not likely. Cali Raised must have a quality control problem.

I will be using a different brand of rock sliders when I install sliders on my own 4Runner.

Were the holes that didn't line up with the frame holes on the driver's side, like @Cactusman found?

Jake posts here frequently about his products. I'm sure it's hard to send sliders back for rework, but based on the comments here, they could/should get tighter on their QC.

CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY!!! Especially when we spend the amount of money we do on our 4Runners.....

I just installed RCI rock sliders on my 4Runner. The holes on both sliders lined up perfectly with the bolt holes on the frame. The left slider was a little tricky to install because of the KDSS lines but, overall, it was a straightforward installation. I recommend RCI. No issues with holes not lining up.

We've all got to call Toyota and let them know their build specs are off and not matching cali's slidders anymore. I'm sure they'll get the assembly line specs fixed asap. LMAO what a bunch of dumb f$cks! My left side was off too, I love the sliders but don't you DARE blame Toyota, fix your shit to fit the damn truck!

    RSG did also on mine.

CR only had 15 years of 5th gens to get it right...

Pretty much. But I haven’t bought them yet. I’m still researching which one to buy and this issue makes me less likely to buy the CR ones.

Gotcha. I thought you had them already. I would be leery of them myself if shopping for sliders. The RSG I got matched up perfectly.

I am the OP. I wouldnt buy CR rock sliders. I am talking about a majority of their holes didnt line up. Poor customer service as they told me what others have said "it is because of toyota and their machining" I almost fell out of my chair when they said that. They lost a customer, I wont be buying anything else from them.
