Does anyone’s have a good comparison between the two ladders offered by Gobi and C4? Pros and cons? Feature comparison? Best aesthetics?

I don't have either but that won't stop me from giving an opinion. :quickdraw:

    Gobi:
It's a ladder and does the job. Is cheaper than the C4. Ridiculous wait time, we are talking months here, many months.

    C4:
Way better looking than the Gobi IMO. Has a standing platform on top. Has readily available accessories to bolt on it. Is more expensive than the Gobi. Will get it a lot sooner than the Gobi.

Full disclosure- I have C4Fab sliders. C4Fab rocks.

Thanks for your input. I like the c4 stuff myself. The ability to mount stuff is definitely awesome. I like the steps as well.

Really I think the major difference besides looks and stuff to bolt on it is the standing platform on the top of the C4. I think that would aid in tying things down or with entering and exiting a tent.

Definitely true. Is it me, or does the c4 ladder block the “4” on the hatch 4Runner emblem?

I don't think it does (but it may a little) unless you bolt a shovel or gas can to it...

I like my Baja Racks ladder a lot. It's better than the Gobi, IMO. I think the attachment is stronger than the Gobi, from looking at the two on line. Compared to the C4 it's a simple, closed-tube shape with no bolts or mating surfaces for water to permeate. Smooth and simple. I didn't have to wait very long for mine to arrive after I ordered about a year ago.

2 years later, here is my review of my C4. Personally i dig it better than the Gobi. I also have an Gobi Ranger on the way and going to be selling my Gobi ladder. IMO, the Gobi ladder looks to skimpy. The C4 looks beefier and sexier :)
