I am almost certain that I have a bad front wheel bearing on my drivers side, and I would like to replace wheel bearings and hubs for both sides. I am confident with removing most parts, but not with actually pressing the new bearing in.

I am wondering if it is possible to buy new hubs with the bearings already pressed in, and if anyone could provide me with a link to purchase.

    Thanks a bunch!

You would need the entire steering knuckle. You will need to press them in and out. If you don't have a big press, you'll need a shop to do it.

Why do you think it has gone bad? They can, but I am at 295k miles and mine are rock solid up front. The bearings are really big compared to newer years.

Humming noise coming from front right wheel, didn’t go away when I rotated tires. When I jack it up and take the wheel off and spin the rotor it catches at a point and then stops.

Yeah. Sounds like it. I was just checking. I bought a HF press to do these in the future. Getting the knuckle off isn't to hard as long as you have a ball joint separator or pickle forks and an impact for the large axle nut.

If you have a good relationship with a shop, sometimes you can take in your parts and they will press the old ones out and in for a reasonable cash price.
