Skid Plates, Rear bumper, rock sliders
Good morning all! I have a 2023 TRD Pro with roughly 24000 miles on it. The only upgrades so far have been skid plates by RCI, CO2 system in the cargo area, and roof rack. Thanks to an incident on the trail I have a rear bumper (Dissent Off Road) and rock sliders (RCI) on order. No body damage thankfully other than really bad pin stripes. A front bumper with winch, light, etc (C4 Lo-pro w/high clearance wings) is next after the sliders and rear bumper. After that the tires could probably stand to be replaced. I want to go to 33s on the Pro rims but I have no real interest in upgrading from the Fox suspension; at least not yet (future plan in a couple of years) but I believe there will be some sagging from the extra weight. From my understanding the only 2 options to get a lift are the Westcott Designs spacer kit and the Eibach springs correct? For those of you with pros that kept the fox suspension what did you use and why? Would the Ekstrom designs strut shims work? Could I combine say springs with the WD spacers? Would fiberglass fenders help? Would backspacers for the wheels be counter productive?

Pics for attention…not a lot going on yet.

    vr
    Bobby

I had the Eibach springs when I had stock pro suspension. Liked them a lot.

    Hey Bobby,
Welcome to the forum. Looks like you got great additions and mods to the rig. Show us the rig if you can!

As for the questions, I ran the WD spacer kit on the pro suspension for quite sometime, Wescott even had a youtube video on it several years back. Look for a nautical blue 4R and that is mine. I had no issues with that approach on their kit and even they recommended upgrading the springs in the back with 2" icon because I wanted to have a level truck. However, over time, I noticed that the travel up front was a bit rough and just didn't like it. At first, it was the cheapest route I could afford but the ride wasn't the best and I eventually ended up upgrading the entire suspension to OME BP51 (pricey) and got the lift along with the ride quality. So, if I had to do it all over again, I would upgrade the suspension in one go and be done. No issues also doing it in stages and appreciating the changes and learning about it. More...:spending:though.
