Evening all, I have a 2003 4runner logging fault code for catalytic converter efficiency on right bank. Monitoring with scan tool shows tps at 18% key on and 81% at key on full throttle. I'm thinking that this off reading has to mess with computers calculations and possibly causing code. Looking for some input and advice. Trying not to end up buying converter and a throttle body to fix unless needed.

Thank you in advance for any help

I recently replaced the upstream and downstream O2 sensors on the right side (Bank 1) after throwing the P0420 code. I was positive my converter manifold was fine because the truck has only 108,000 km, had synthetic oil changes since new and only 91 octane since new zero exhaust or coolant leaks. Those sensors age and get lazy even though they check out okay with an ohmmeter. I used Denso sensors from Rock Auto and, here's hoping, the code hasn't come back even after lots of heavy throttle driving through massive snow piles.
