I have a handheld, boafang radio. Just looking for a convenient place to mount it and maybe the mount that you could suggest thank you.

You are entering the danger zone :spending:

I use the rago mount so I can put my other gadgets. I run a midland radio, lots of time and money spent to get it connected and settle.

I have looked and looked but ultimately chunk it in the cup holder until I can find something that doesn't bring additional attention to my runner.

Since you’re never going to use it, put it in the glovebox instead of trying to look cool with it lmao

I designed this 3D printable UV-5R mount to work with the Taco Garage Dash Mount.

Installation pics here. Can be adapted to work with other mounting methods.

Dremeled bottom half off so the clip would engage fully, will stay on driving highways and byways. We will see how it does hitting those desert trails but as someone above mentioned, since I solo camp solo Overland, I don’t need no stinking radio throw it in the glove box. Bilstein 6112s @ 3” w/ 5160s & Dobinsons 1.5" rear springs. SPC UCAs & Perry Parts Bump Stops. SCS F5s & Toyo RT Trail 285/70R17. C4 Sliders.
    This is the way.
Half the time my BF-F8HP is clipped to me or in my pocket when I’m out of the truck. Cupholder w/ the grippy rubber insert is perfect.

That or, some radios the belt clip is strong enough to clip it to the sun visor.

I just picked up some wouxon hand holds where the belt clip sadly isn't strong enough for this.
