2024 4 Runner Dash Cam

Just purchase a new 24 4 Runner that came from factory equipped with a dash cam. There’s even the code designating so. This is not the integrated dash cam as used previously. It is a stand alone unit and uses the app in pic. It records and works but the only way to view recordings is to remove the SD card and read with my laptop. The camera emits its own WiFi signal which your mobile devices should connect to and along with the app allow you to view recordings, change settings etc. All of my devices see the network but cannot connect. I’ve tried iPhone 15, 10, iPad, and a Droid thinking it was perhaps an Apple issue. Had it to dealership and they say that they can’t help me. Called Toyota assistance and after 45 minutes they decided it was a dealership installed accessory and the dealer would have to fix it. I tried to tell them otherwise but got nowhere. Has anyone had a similar issue? I thought Toyota was above this level of behavior.

Has anyone tried the Red Tiger Zohan EM054 Dashcam or related type Dashcams?

Red tiger is a pretty reliable brand and well-known, I use Pelsee for all my vehicles, and they also have a kit you can purchase to have it recorded while you're parked. It came in handy when I got into a minor front-end collision with my 4runner last year
