Toyota Extra Care worth it?

    Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. But at the same time, you're already covered by Toyota out to 3yr/36k. But yeah, I hear ya.

    You can certainly get an extended warranty from Toyota after you buy the car, I think as long as it's before 3/36. What I don't know is whether or not the dealer would need to inspect your vehicle first. I think the warranty would run from the vehicle's original in service date so it shouldn't really affect the cost of the warranty at all.

    Yes you can buy your EW from Toyota up to the point your standard warranty expires. And it does run from the original in service date.

    Also, the warranties are transferable one time to a new owner and they can be canceled for a prorated rebate.
    Bought one years ago for our 2009 Limited and it paid for itself several times over (2 stereo head units and a X-REAS shock set). If the new ones didn't have the X-REAS it might not be worth getting one but then again the new models have more electronics.
    Just don't over pay.

    Bottom line if you have the money and it helps you to sleep better at night then it's right for you.
