Is it possible to pair the phone to be used for music and whatever data the headunit needs from the phone, but not have the "phone" capability synced?

I like having my phone paired with the truck for music and using onboard apps (weather, nav) but I don't like it when the phone rings and I have to choose on my phone whether to take the call on my phone or through the truck speakers (hands free).

Basically, I don't like using the handsfree in this truck for phone calls. But I want the phone connected for other stuff.

What kind of phone are you using?

I went through my settings and didn’t see an option to select that only the phone doesn’t go with the pairing. I think the only option is when you answer, is to select it on the phone.

Yep I know what you're talking about with selecting how you want to receive the call.

But if you go into Bluetooth settings it will list the phone connection. And to the right side there's a phone icon and a music icon (I think). Gives the impression there are two different "connections". Almost as if you could choose one or the other. I'll grab a photo tomorrow.

And I know I've seen a pop up one time that said "connect as an audio player" or "connect as phone". Cant seem to get that to show up again. I've even deleted the connection and set it up again. Hmm.
