    Thanks for the reply, kmeeg. I found and watched your video the other day - quite informative. Since this is my wife's 2wd 4Runner that is never taken off road, I really don't want to drop too much on suspension. I'm leaning toward swapping to SR5 shocks and coils. The ride quality of bilsteins with Ltd coils doesn't sound good.

    Look around for take offs. I found a set F & R very modest cost as new runner owner immediately changed the suspension. Installation & alignment was more than the new parts. But now I am good for another 50,000 or so miles.
