New to me! Looking for some recommendations

Just picked up a 2001 SR5. Has about 215k miles. Got it for 4500.
But it needs Apple car play added and a back up camera.
Can you guys recommend which Apple car play screen and back up camera you guys have installed.
Down the road thinking of a wrap and steel bumper.

Welcome. I just replace factory head unit with a Atoto S8G2B74PM. Using the Metra 70-1761 adapter it installed very easily into my 2001 4Runner SR5. I was concerned sound quality was going to suffer as factory amp is also removed with install but unit sounds as good if not better than stock. The added EQ and balance features help elevate audio. The unit I installed did not include back up camera as I'm not interested in this feature. Too much install headache for too little benefit IMO. Other Atoto skus include. Several good Youtube video detail wiring + install.

 

A Sony axv 9000es. If Cost is a concern or if you don't need a better sound quality or a non glaring screen go with there non ES models starting at 200 bucks. I installed one in my 02 in December
