Just traded in my BMW M3. My daily driver is Tundra and I sold my FJ a few years ago. I really like the dependability of Toyotas and needed something more practical. I look forward to learning from everyone here. Any other NE Tennessee guys or gals here? I took this pic of it before I left the dealership.1BD0A6DB-054E-43D5-9C96-5B16794472EA.jpg

Thanks everyone! I didn’t realize until I got home that the dealer took my front mud guards off because of rubbing. I also noticed they did a crappy trim job on lower part of the wheel wells. :(I’m waiting to hear back to see what they are going to do. I suggested swapping the 285/75’s to 285/70’s like what’s on the TRD Pro and see if that helps. Any suggestions?

What part of the wheel well was cut? I'd be pissed if I found that out after purchase. It's one thing to throw some bigger tires on. It's another thing entirely to trim panels.

These sorts of things should be disclosed.

They poorly cut the lower part of the bumper. One side more and even worse than the other. Yeah I was both pissed and sick to my stomach. I went back to the dealership and asked what they are going to do about it. The sales manager said he is going to talk to his boss and see what options they had and assured me they would make it right. That’s what I get for assuming dealer installed options are done correctly. I told them I would not accept a new bumper that was painted by a body shop either. I will post what they end up doing.

    Oh man. That's awful.

Sorry you're going through that. You could try calling Toyota corporate and open a case with them. Tell them you weren't aware before purchase that the dealer had cut body panels.

    Welcome brother
Those don't look like 285/75s and the pro comes with 265/70 on 17s. A 285/75 on a 17 is a 34" tire which is huge.

Pretty sure 285's are 33" tires... not that huge... definitely larger than stock tho.

You’re right on the pro size. I don’t know why I thought they were 285/70. But, the ones on mine are 285/75/17. I think it’s just the angle of the pic. Trust me, they look large from the side view. Thanks
