Help: Central Differential Lock Switch

I might've accidentally tapped the diff lock because when I tried making a turn, things didn't seem right. The VSC Off, central diff lock, and four wheel drive indicator is on w/ four wheel indicator blinking. I'd appreciate it if people can give me some advice on what I can do to fix it. Thanks!

 

dumb question, but did you push it again, as in trying to turn it off?

No not at all. Just trying to nail down the initial steps of trouble shooting. Did you try pushing the button on/ off again while the Shifter was in N or in D? (I'm just going through a similar trouble shooting procedure in my 4Runner's Factory Service Manual, which is for a very similar 4x4 system).

 

Lol. Yes, I did try the solutions that you mentioned, but no such luck. Guess I'll just have to bring it to the dealer shop.

unhook the battery and try again before going to dealer....

If it still doesn't go off and it still drives it sounds like what happened to me. Stuck actuator.

 

yup use them or loose them....
