    Unsolicited advise here:

    You don't need four mounted tires in your garage for an emergency. You have a spare. I have been on the trail and had a person get TWO flats. Spares at home did no good. She mounted her spare that she was carrying and then borrowed one from another friend.

    Besides, if you have an "emergency" and lose a couple of tires I would use it as an opportunity to "upgrade" to 275s or 285s. But keep you rims. They rock.

    Now me on the other hand, I have been debating buys a set of Trail Wheels to mount on my utility trailer. Would look cool to have all matching wheels and tires.

    On the other hand, if you wanted to mount snow tires on them for winter use in the mountains......

    It is cheaper then buying new tires and having them mounted and balanced plus you get the rims. Dunlop AT20 Grandtrek 265/70/17 are about $180 to $190 a piece plus tire fees and all that.

    You just missed them by a few days. I just sold them to a buddy of mine.
