    Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anybody has come across this odd quirk as it relates to the key fob and locking/unlocking the 4R......some background......I went to warm up the 4R the other day and went back inside as I tried to re-enter the driver's side 4R....it was locked....I tried to use the key fob to unlock it to no avail....however the passengers side door was unlocked so I climbed in and unlocked the driver's side door from the inside and went on my way.....I took the back up key fob to be safe....both fobs have a battery that is fully charged/new....when I arrived at work and then got in the 4R to come home...no issues...walking up the 4R the 4R recognized my key and automatically unlocked the drivers door....at first I thought maybe a bad fob and bad signal given electronics don't like the extreme cold or I thought it might be some security feature....i.e. when you leave the 4R running for a while it automatically locks.

    For reference - I have a '21 4Runner - SR5.

Thought I would ask the experts on here.

    The Chew
