I'm looking at leveling or lift kits for my 4Runner and specifically looking at 2 options:
-Procomp 65205, 2.25" Leveling Kit (Just the front)
-Procomp 65210K, Nitro 3" lift Kit

I don't want to kill the warranty. First priority is to level the truck but I want to get a little more clearance.

So does anyone have experience with these lifts? If so, is installation relatively straight forward? Does anyone know if these will kill the warranty?

    Thanks!

They are very easy to install, just removal of the strut assembly is necessary for the front and the rears only require that you remove springs, both of which are not difficult. The only thing I'll say about install is to study and learn exactly what youre doing, itll make it so much easier and move much more quickly. I'm not sure that it'll void your warranty as it isn't a modification to components, its an addition of parts. However if something breaks as a result of the lift/level kit, youre on the hook for that

Thanks very much for the info and your reply. Do you have any comment concerning what package to pick (just front or front/back kit)?

I think it all comes down to what you want out of it. If you want more height, do the front and rear kit, if you are just looking to level it out, then the front only kit will suffice

Does anyone know if this will work with KDSS?

I’ve installed two OME suspensions on KDSS equipped 4R’s with no adverse effects. You should be good with it. If you have any questions or need some advice, feel free to ask away. There’s quite a good bit of knowledge here to help you.

I have seen/read that OME will work but my question is regarding the Procomp 65210k nitro kit. I called Procomp today and they where less than helpful, only stating that they have never installed this kit on a 4Runner with KDSS... They are unsure if it will create issues. I mean how do you not know when you are the manufacturer of a lift, seems ridiculous.

I just checked it out and it appears to be a simple spacer lift so I’d presume it would work as any other spacer lift for these vehicles.

I agree, how they do not know is a bit concerning.
