Replaced silver valances with black. Everything else stock.
Can the plastic piece on the rear seat cup holders of a 5th Gen 4Runner be removed? My niece and nephew spilled hot chocolate all down the cup holders and arm rest and it is all between the crack of the plastic and arm rest. I want to try popping it off but I'm afraid I will break it. Has anyone else tried this before and had success?

Have you tried to get rid of the niece and nephew?

I don't think it's possible to remove just the cup holders. They are plastic so you can try to wiggle them out using a pry tool. Even if you break them, it should be a cheap piece to replace IF Toyota makes it. If not, you are out of luck.
I do know that you can remove the entire central armrest by working on the 2 hinges.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
Use a steam cleaner. It'll get between the cracks.

You might be able to pry it out with a panel tool. I am guessing it's just clipped in there, unless there are some fasteners hidden underneath the rubber cup holder liners.
