The correct size wiper blades for 3rd Gen 4Runners

I have 18-5/8" wiper blades on my 4runner they come past my windshield edge on the passenger side I ordered new Denzo ones and they are 17" ones and are about 1" from the edge of the passenger side. My originals 18-5/8" are just a little to long. So I want to purchase 18" Denzo ones to correct this and I think that is the right size for this windshield on this generation and not the 17"! Anybody else having this problem with the blade length on these 3rd generations?

Pretty sure 17" is correct.

I have had my car since new and just go by what Autozone or Amazon says and it's always been the correct size.

 

you are right on the correct size but for some reason I have 18-5/8" on mine which works fine and does cover more windshield area. again the 17" ones they say that are the ones that are for these 3rd generations blades seem to be too short and the 18" seem just right. I am not having any problems with the ones I am running but when they are shut off, they lap over just a hair on the rubber molding at rest. that's why I am saying the 18" would solve this and be perfect size for the windshield.
