Center differential wont disengage

2006 V8 4Runner

2006 V8 4Runner. So I go to turn my stock locker on this weekend and upon pressing the button the light began to blink like it was trying to engage.... and never stopped. The locker engaged however the light is still blinking and no matter what method I have tried i can not get it to disengage. i have tried reverse, moving forward, neutral, moving slow turning back and forth and still nothing. So any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
