    I have been in contact with Gobi and just wanted to see if there is any interest in a group by before the holidays, but more importantly, before the prices go up in 2019.

    I keep hearing 6 months out...you don’t mean Christmas 2018, do you? Either way, I’ll try to get a delivery timeline.

    Holy crap!!! 6 month lead time on it? What happened to their 8-10 week lead time? It went from that to 12-16 weeks and now 6 months?

    I think you’re going to be hard pressed to get any kind of interest in a Gobi GB here and I don’t think I would recommend them to anyone based on their lack of CS and excessively long lead time.

    As a matter of fact, I’m hard pressed to permit a Gobi GB on 4Runners.com at this time and they’d need to up their game IRT their CS and delivery before allowing a Gobi GB on here.

    ordered a gobi ladder and it took 8 weeks to come in. had for a month now

    I haven't heard 6 months from Gobi, just from the forums. I can shoot you a PM once I hear from them again. If you don't think it is right for the forum, then it isn't right for the forum. But we can discuss it then, sound good?

    I'd get gobi to commit to a number of items (ladder, for example), along with a guaranteed delivery date, then open the GB. Accept payment, but don't process until shipping. If items aren't ready by delivery date, all payments are cancelled. There will still be a market for gobi to sell their product. They're not out anything. And buyers can go elsewhere if they need the item sooner than later.

    Sounds fair? Puts gobi on alert, they know the funds are coming, and doesn't leave buyers hanging longer than they expect.
