Ok so this is all new to me. Been playing with jeeps for a long time and I just snapped up this 98 4 runner to do a dream build. I’m picking the best of both worlds and doing a body swap with a C101 Jeepster. I couldn’t beat the price on the 4 runner and it way cheaper than building the commando from scratch. So why not.

Not sure that pic showed up correctly. Its a 98 with tons and a 3link front with air shocks and 63in chevy leaves out back, 5:13 gears, 4.7.1 dual case setup, 41.5 inch pit bulls. I got it out of jersey today but, not sure it came from there. Just trying to find out a little more of the particulars from the builder. In case i break something and need parts. Thanks for the help guys.

    Just a guess but....

    "Globex Performance, toms river NJ

they do all sorts of work. Jeep specialists, but they did install my lift, and supercharger

Ask for Glen. I follow them on facebook, and they weld tons of jeeps up."

You should be able to find a phone number with that info.

I talked to them already. They didn't build it, said he brought it to them for a few things but, that's it.

Well took it out today and played with it at the local jeep dealerships toys drive and i pretty much had a smile on my face the entire time. This damn thing made everything look super easy and hell it was the first time driving anything with that big of tires and that much gear reduction. I could have got out and spotted myself over the rock gardens. It was ridiculous .

That rig looks cool, for sure, and the best part is that it is dedicated for off road use. That makes such a big difference. Most of us have to use our daily drivers for off roading, and end up compromising something. Sometimes the sum of the compromises result in the vehicle not being able to perform either task well, haha.
