upload_2024-11-17_15-25-31.jpgLooking for any advice for this code I know it’s ether a malfunction with the knock sensor or its wiring, has anyone gone through the same process and knows the best solution/new knock sensor replacement?

Buy it straight from TOYOTA. Do not get anything else. They are not cheap but pay once cry once.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
My truck started throwing knock sensor codes after the engine was washed by the dealer I bought it from. NOT a Toyota dealer. Anywho, my mechanic locally, bought some "equivalent" after market sensors, and threw them in, with new pigtails. Truck STILL threw knock sensor codes. I told him to go to the local Toyota dealship, and get some TOYOTA knock sensors. Well, low and behold, he put them in, and son uv a gun, the codes vanish, and haven't showed since. That was around 7K miles ago. I think the key is to use TOYOTA sensors. The computor just doesn't like aftermarket stuff. My mech has taken to buying all the parts for my truck at the dealership.

When a tech at Infiniti/Nissan back in the 90s the aftermarket sensors had way different readings than OEM.... on the V-8s based off of what I ran into. You individual experience and mileage may vary.

V6? Check for rodent chewed wiring. The knock sensors are in a nice sheltered area below the intake manifold.
