2000 4Runner - Not Going to Repair It. Any Interest?

Location: Doylestown PA (an hour north of Philadelphia)

Friday night (11/8/24) on a dark street, a deer ran right into me, hitting the front driver's side panel. I don't carry collision on the vehicle (figuring if anything happened, I would just scrap it) and I won't be repairing it. It has 297K miles on it and just passed annual state emissions on 11/4/24 (costing me $2K!).

Anybody want to make an offer? I know I can get some money from my mechanic's scrapyard contact, but I'm putting it out to the community first. I don't have a number in mind, but clearly $100 wouldn't be worth it for me.

It runs right now (I drove it home) but the bumper is touching the front driver's side tire. I could go like 30 MPH to get it home, with a fun smell of rubber. But, mechanically, everything runs fine and lots of work has been done to it over the years including even a recent catalytic converter.

 

Ha! I was going to ask "Hey, did you hit a deer?" after looking at the pictures, then I scrolled further and saw the rest of your post. I'm getting good at this picture guessing game!

What does the rest of your ride look like? Show us all that nasty rust ya' got! Also, what do you "think" you want for it? You don't want someone low-balling you with an offer for $50.
