Hey guys. Curious if anyone can answer this. Is there anything I can do with Icon that is like the in between of Stage 1 and Stage 2? I see they sell these as packages or sell by piece. Looking to get into these products but not 100%sure the difference or need between the two other than extended travel, resi’s and UCAs.

    Thanks.

hey Jonathan, there really isn't an in between for the icon, I guess the stage 2 (tubular) would be the in between. its the same kit it all depends on what you're willing to pay for the added goodies. I can personally tell you two things.
    1) no use just getting stage 1, unless you want to budget out the rest of the suspension. I would encourage you get UCA (dont have to be icon).

    2) get the track bar. that helps keep everything kosher in terms of drive line.

the icon system is basically made to keep building it up as you go.

hey man, just thought of another thing. it also depends on what you're gonna be doing with your runner. if looks and stance is what you're after no need spending all that hard earned cash. some heavier shocks and a level kit can also get you places and can handle extra weight too. ie. winch (if you need one); sso bumper; wilco swing arm.
however, I would still recommend some UCA and maybe a track bar.

I've read different things about the track bar for the Stage 2. Is it really necessary? Just bought a stage 2 kit and didn't love the idea of spending an extra $300 on a piece of pipe. Appreciate any thoughts.

I mean I guess you dont really have too. personal choice. the bar is important tho. doesn't necessary have to be icon. the added height mighy be negligible but long term will have premature wear on parts.
