    Hey all,

I am thinking of defecting from my Tacoma to a T4R and am learning a lot on this site but have one glaring question or concern for the trucks longevity. To cut to the chase I am worried about trans oil temps and am wondering if the Tacoma aux transmission oil cooler found on the tow package will work the same with the 4Runner setup. I believe they have the exact same 1GRFE and A750F transmission with a few differences here and there. Oil cooler part number is 32920. Otherwise it looks like people have had good luck with other brands of oil coolers but I would like to use Toyota OEM parts where possible. Thank you in advance and I look forward to joining here with a '19 4Runner Off Road!

my 2016 I have a scan gauge II so I monitor the tranny temps all the time . when hot out and the runner is loaded up 85 deg F the temps are around 180F .. when cold out, not loaded temps 160F.

I also have GM truck and I also use this tool , same temps , has the tow package 5.3L engine 1500 LT ..

not sure on Tacoma truck weight but , the runners are 5000LBS.. GM truck is 4400LBS..
