Hello everyone, I can use some help/pointers with my 2006 SR5 4Runner. Lately i have been experiencing a shudder/slight bucking with my 4Runner while in lower RPM's. it happens while slower acceleration or a cruising speed within 1-2,000 RPM's and lightly touching gas pedal. i have replaced trans fluid and had diagnostics ran, nothing coming up.

Any/all help is appreciated, Thank you!

That member hasnt been active in 2 years...

If you have a shudder issue you should check for any trouble codes first, can check them at auto zone for free if you dont have a scanner. Should also consider doing a trans fluid exchange or multiple pan drain & fills if the trans fluid hasn't been changed at proper intervals. Do you have maint records for the 4runner to verify if the trans fluid has been changed? They also made a shudder fix additive that may help the issue before getting into physical repair.

Thank you for the reply! I ended up doing a drain and fill on the trans pan and it fixed the issue! Thank god!

Good to hear! Do a few more to ensure you have mostly new fluid in there. How much fluid came out on the drain & fill??

About 2 quarts. It was low forsure. We did it a couple times so the new fluid could filter through a bit. She’s running like a champ now so i’m just thankful it was a easy fix.
