Take off the valve covers to powder coat them. I did this on my 1st 4runner 03' V6 yrs ago, and now have the V8 03' Sport. inside and out look GREAT! but want to clean up under the hood. How hard is it to remove them and anything technical to know? IMG_3023.jpg

Thats what Im thinking, $35 for gaskets and boots. just have to check $$ on powder coat job. May be more In St. Louis, did it first time in Fla. I really clean up and easy to keep looking good.

What O I deleted that post. There nice just have the torque set right. My neighbor gave me an oven that the burners broke on. So I picked up a powder coating kit. Already have 220 installed in my detached garage. It’s really fun to statically charge the part and do it yourself..

years ago I used to powder coat, but sold all the equipment and there is a shop not to far from me. I do like the results to do it.
Just got the 3/8 Milwaukee impact for the job.
