I was looking at a couple options locally and it's apparent that the v8 4x4 is not that common.

The best deals I found were

    -A 2008 limited with 140,000 miles for $13500

    -A 2005 sport with 89,000 miles for $15,000

Both seem to be in great condition.

Are these good price or is there any chance to negotiate a bit more on these?

I purchased my 2003 SR5 V8 4WD last March with 75,000 miles for $11,000. It was a one owner that seemed to have spent it's life in Iowa based on service records, which indicated the vehicle was very well taken care of. The vehicle ran great and I've put about 10,000 miles on it with no issues. It was originally listed for $12,000 but I negotiated down to $11,000 since it needed the timing belt and serpentine belt changed. To answer your question, those prices seem high to me, but then again, prices will vary by geographic region. Also, check underneath for any rust. Hope that helps.

If those prices are from a dealer they always leave room. I wouldn't pay sticker for anything even a new one, someone else could have it. I won't even start about people paying over sticker for anything except maybe a true collector car. A 4Runner is far from a collector car.

I paid $9000ish for my 2006 Runner with Limited trim and v8 with 4x4. It had 158000 miles when I bought it. At time of purchase it had an obvious exhaust leak, and some minor rust on suspension components like control arms etc...nothing major, and the frame and body are spotless. Dealer was asking $11900 and it was for sale for over a month. I am in Greenville NC so prices will vary...
