I’ve redone the head gaskets on my 94 4Runner and after finishing the heads it would start and idle fine but when put into drive it wouldn’t go past about 10mph and just acted sluggish even with the pedal mashed to the floor the rpms wouldn’t go up nor the mph.

Does your check engine light come on?

Also when you have it in park will it rev the rpms up? What about neutral?

I have a 14 41 and 52 engine codes which is tps knock sensor and some ignition code while in park and neutral it revs the rpms good just driving acts powerless.

Well there's your problems. The knock sensor alone will make the thing completely gutless and powerless. Combine the other codes and its pretty crippled. I'd start by fixing the tps and ignition codes first since their easier. Knock sensor codes are a nightmare to deal with and would be best to leave till last I'd say since it is still drivable with just that code. I've been driving with that code for the last year

I replaced tps and tested knock sensor and it’s good but the little wire thing that comes off the sensor that connects to the harness by the injectors had a lot of bare spots in it would it hurt to drive without the knock sensor connected and if not would I have to bypass it. I tried unhooking the sensor wire and it started and idled fine but when I pushed the brake to put it into drive it would just choke out and die.
