Firestone Airbags with 1.0”cornfed spacer?

The Cornfed spacers are bolted on with a 1.5” lag bolt into the rubber coil bump cushion

To install the blue Firestone airbags you need to cut out most of the bumper inside the coil. Do you think I could cut out enough without the cornfed bolt coming through? Just wondering if someone has done this. I have stock coils with the spacer vs getting taller coils that I didn’t want.
