    Just bought.
Hi, I'm Dave from central NY. I just purchased a Toyota SR5 Premium 4runner to tow my 17' boat and use the 4 wheel drive when it's necessary. I could use some help. When I was at the dealer they had a regular SR5 on display which had the "Trail" type all black running boards with the holes along the top. I wanted them on my SR5 Premium but they came in with some funky ugly boards. I bought the truck but had them take off the ugly boards. I have been trying to get info on the "Trail" design but dealer says they will only fit on certain models. Can anyone tell me if or where I can get a set for my new vehicle. I have to order them and want to make sure they will fit. Is a sport utility a 4 door with back door? I would really appreciate some help here. I really want them on my SUV. Can it be done with some modification? Thanks.

The good thing about toyota is they are pretty consistent across models. The Offroad running boards I had on my 2017 TRD ORP were the exact same as my friends SR5.

For one, dealer salesmen don’t know much, if anything about what they sell.

The mounting locations should be consistent
