    Hi there!

I've been looking for an answer about this since I bought the truck. The first day I had it I traveled 500km and was stuck in some serious rain on the high way. I started using my rear wiper and noticed that it scratched my window in the back. I noticed that the plastic piece doesnt touch down on the window on the first swipe, but the returning swipe causes it to rub down on the window and any particles there, dust, dirt, rocks, sand, etc... scratches my rear window.

I've been looking on how to stop this from happening (the scratches are permanent according to a local glass repair shop) so I just would like to prevent the scratching from happening.

Any help here would be great.

    It's a 2013 4runner limited.

These are not the scratches from lowering the window that 3rd gens seem to get (all I've been finding online)
