Cv axle angle after 3” lift

I installed a 3” rough country lift. (Probably first mistake) . My axles have an extreme angle and I don’t understand why. There’s no added spacer. I have not done a diff drop but regardless it needs more than 1”. Any ideas ?

 

2" max lift.

Don't exceed that, not on a 3rd Gen.

 

Why do you assert your 3” lift should not result in extreme angles ?

 

Not saying it would help but I would upgrade those control arms as well. My 3” lift didn’t have my upper and lower ball joint that maxed out but that would definitely be another issue for you in the future. Maybe the upgraded arms will help the angle as well.

 

I’m just going off results of what I see from others. Mine looks much more sloped than pictures of others. If it’s fine way it is I’m happy with it. I won’t be using the truck for much just drive round town and play in. I just don’t wanna be replacing cv axles every few thousand miles

Have the same rough country lift on mine I did the aftermarket upper control arms I'm at 54xxx miles on the cv axles that came with the 4Runner when I bought it just getting ready to change mine out I did some research for end links used 3rd gen rears on the front and 2nd gen fronts on the rear otherwise u can buy spacers for the sway bars I also have adjustable rear trailing arms
