Thought I'd poke in and say hi for my first post. I've driven Toyota trucks most of my life, to include three Tacoma's, and bought my second 4Runner last October. We live about 15 minutes from Ocala National Forest here in Central Florida, so we've put quite a few miles on the local trails, exploring and just spending quality family time outdoors. To us, that's what the 4Runner is all about.

It's pretty mild terrain down here, so I haven't felt compelled to do too many mods. I've been figuring out what I need by using it, instead of just putting everything on that looks cool (but I want to - lol). Started with upgrading the stock tires to something more off-road worthy, went with 275/70 K02's. Then put on some RCI sliders for rocker protection, and also to function as a step for the kids. Got more than a few scuffs and dents in the factory skid plates, so upgrading them next with some RCI aluminum versions. Just lifted it a bit (2" front, 1.5" rear) with new springs this past weekend, for a bit of extra ground clearance. Frontrunner Slimline II 3/4 Extended Rack on order to carry our Maxtrax and get some of the other recovery gear out of the back.

Looking forward to learning, and contributing where I can.

    As it sat today...

    Thank you, Dan.

Performance has been great, on and off road, for the 7500 miles I've had them. Being E rated, I enjoy the confidence and piece of mind, in terms of durability. That said, they are heavy at nearly 55lbs each*, and I still have one that could be re-balanced yet again. My buddy has the same size K02's on his '18 TRD OR, and still has lingering balancing issues after being road-force balanced twice by Discount Tire. All in all, I'm happy with them and have no regrets, but I'll likely at least shop other brands before buying my next set.

    Thank you, Bob!
