Lifting 4Runner Back end (Leaf springs?)

Hey guys! I'm thinking about adding a little height to the back end of my truck just to level it out - I definitely do not want to lift the whole rig or anything, it's stock and standard and I want to keep it that way. But I want to get rid of slight "sag". What would you guys recommend to best achieve this? My first thought was to add a leaf spring - but I really know nothing about this and would appreciate any advice!!

 

Nice looking ride, first question, is the shocks and springs original, and how many miles are on them? If you do not want to address shocks and springs, then maybe just rear springs will work for your sag. Opps sorry i forgot you have leaf springs. Back in the day i had some leaf springs re-arched and that was great, but adding a leaf sounds like the cheapest fix.

You should consider Add-A-Leaf spring kit for your Gen-1 4Runner. They are pretty easy to install, and will give your 4runner a nice level ride (better then original.) But I would also consider replacing the shocks at the same time, especially if they are the original shocks! But I put an Add-A-Leaf spring, on my 1986 4Runner (which we are now in the middle of doing a full restoration on) and it worked out great!
