So, I came across this Rigid Industries Ignite Flood light somewhere. It's got a 1 amp draw, 1,000 lumens, 12 watts and can connect to 6V - 28V power. A guy on Instagram had a write up to wire it to a rechargeable battery pack. I found a cigarette lighter plug with a 5 amp fuse in it at Pep Boy's for $1.99. I soldered 4' of 18 gauge wire to the cigarette plug with disconnects on the opposite end. At the light end, I added 1' of 18 gauge wire to the same disconnects. This light uses the GoPro base system and you can attach it to anything, clips, suction cup, etc. It's kind of expensive for the light at $70 but I figured I'd give it a shot. This was the first time soldered any electrical connections so that was fun. Added a skill to my bag of tricks.

I ordered the rechargeable battery pack from Amazon and I'll wire that up with the same disconnects so I can switch back and forth.

I'll grab a picture of the complete assembly later. I hunt a lot and thought it would be something useful to keep in the truck for any number of 100 reasons.
