Yes, that happened to me. I replaced the two-sided tape with something far tougher and it can now withstand such abuse.

 

The number one benefit is that now I'm able to put a tire on an obstacle(A Jeep trait), and that makes a world of difference on the trail

 

@Yotaholic yeah for sure man, I felt as well like that's a top benefit.
Some folks poo poo'd me and said they've never caught their stock bumper on nothin and it ain't a prob, but I have mixed feelings on that assertion.

(I scraped my bumper like that, especially my front valance, license plate ripped right off, f*ckn around on a pile of logs I couldn't resist at my in-laws property)

Is this how all Viper cuts are, or this guy did it differently? Some of the plastic was folded onto the washer fluid.
