Switched to an Aluminum Ball Mount with a Stainless Ball recently, and love it! (i.e., hands and vehicle don't get full of grime from the dirty hitch, and doesn't swell shut with rust and get stuck in the receiver).

If anyone else lives in Alaska you guys should come to the Alaska 4x4 Meet & Greet over Father's Day weekend. They asked me to make a short promo video for them from last years event. Hopefully, I'll have both rigs out there this year. 1st gen taco and 5th gen T4R

A small little add on to my 4Runner this weekend , did both rear side windows . Happy with the outcome although 1 of the decals has some very minor bubbles that i hope i will be able to remove once it warms up . I like the i way it looks . Next up , i will be changing out all the interior bulbs . 20180420_203130[1].jpg 20180420_175841[1].jpg

Did some post dyno pulls with the magnuson SC and found a constant 347 at the wheels and torque was similar, maybe a few foot punds less.

It is really fun.I never had a blower on anything before but it makes the runner feel like it's not even working hard.City driving is a blast because it takes off like a SOB and nobody expects it.Highway driving is a dream, especially going up hills with no effort or shifting.Passing power on highway is unreal.

Well… I’m Jealous and got the need for speed! … so please share with us what the total cost was; if you don’t mind to share and do you really have to burn premium fuel now?

    Thanks and congrats!

If being installed at Sparks Toyota total cost is $5695.00 (Blower kit) + $1325 (install) = $7020+ Taxes. The call was made a week back to get this information. I'm struggling trying to justify it myself.

I live in Alberta,Canada and our dollar exchange sucks. The blower cost just over $7500 and I had a licensed pro who gave me a deal for the install. He charged $1000 and did an amazing job.If you live in the states, then the total cost should be 30% less than what I paid.As for gas mileage....it still has factory tires (265/70/17) and factory suspension. At a constant 70mph on highway it get 12 Litres per 100 kilometers. Sorry for the metric conversion.

No argument here. Its a ton of cash to drop but I keep vehicles for a long time and don't regret this one bit. I LOVE being able to go up hills with no decrease in speed and dropping the hammer when the time arises.

And yes, premium fuel is required.A person has to factor the price difference, too. I find you can get the extra miles on a tank full, so it kind of balances out. At least that is how I justify it. LOL

Looks great! I am lucky enough to live in So Cal and attended Meguiars' basic detailing course at their facility in Irvine. I learned a TON of stuff. I only use their products now as well.
