My 4runner came in. My wife and I picked it up from the dealer last night. It was a long 3 weeks but I got exactly what I wanted. Headed to the off-road park this weekend. I'm going to cry if I get any pinstripes from the bushes and tree limbs, but I didn't buy it to be a mall crawler.

I think I want to level the front end and install a hidden winch. Have to figure out an excuse to tell the wife why I need these mods first, and see what warranty voids will apply from Toyota.

A level should not void anything, i have a 3inch lift they complain and try to void my whole warrenty when it only voids my susspension which i have completely redone. And a winch takes a lot of guts i want to do a hybrid front bumper with winch and really dont want to cut my bumper.
As for the explaing to your wife your on your own there lol.

Nice ride. Congrats. So that's how MGM looks when it's squeaky clean.

Sounds like a great combo of mods. Level first then add the winch which sets the front down again a bit.

It did. I opted for the off-road upgrade package. I probably could have done it cheaper on my own but this way it's done.

Technically it didn't when it rolled off the boat when it came into port. Once the vehicle came off the boat it went to the Toyota outfitter Gulf Cost Toyota and that's where they added the TRD rims, blacked out badges, and rock sliders.

Be careful, those are not rock sliders you have there. Those are tube steps, and will likely give way and push into your rocker panels if you decide to belly over obstacles.

That's what I thought also. Toyota calls them rock rails with removable steps.

Wanted to just say, that, is a very very nice rig. That would be the color option(s) i would do if i was able. Any pics of the first outting and such? Any interior shots?

Again, epic rig man. I love it.

Great looking truck. MGM probably would have been my choice, too, but both my brother and my brother-in-law have it so I had to be different. :)

Im going on about 4 weeks, and i am absolutely in with love mine. Only things i dont care for are the MPG, and the turd of a motor (power wise),... but, that motor seems to go for decades and decades, soooooo, is what it is.

    Good stuff man.

If you like off roading and like to keep your paint as in as good of condition as possible. I would recommend getting a ceramic coat. If you have a lot of money you can pay someone. Or if you’re short on money CQuartz is a good brand you can do at home. Usually takes about 4-8 hours depending on detailing experience. Shit is durable as hell and lasts about 2 years. Definitely helps with keeping dirt and some smaller rocks from scratching up the paint.

Well, 3 months later this is what my new 4runner ORP now looks like now. A teen ran a stop sign and we T-boned her. Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt. But I think the rig is totaled.

Yes thankfully everyone walked away. Scratched up some but ok. I had no idea there are airbags for your legs on these vehicles. They hurt like hell but better than hitting the lower dash plastics.
