    Hello everyone,
This is my first post. I have been excited to purchase my first 4Runner for a long time. Initially, I was going to purchase a 2014-2016 4Runner. I decided that it would be a lot for me right now as I have a one year old son and getting married in May. So instead I am looking to buy a used 2004-2008. Prefebly a V8, heard they tend to be more reliable. Please review some photos below. A local Craigslist listing that is appealing, but I have concerns. Price is only $6,700 for a 2004 Limited V8. I am 25 years old and I am having a hard time justifying $6,700 for a vehicle with 164k miles.

Just how reliable are 4Runners in 4th Gen? Can anyone predict how much life this one would have left before major repairs? I live near Harrisburg PA and drive about 10-12k miles per year. Appreciate all your help.

In the CL description, it doesn't mention if it has 4WD. And the pic of the dash we can see a partial pic of a dial, is that the 4WD switch? Or does 4WD matter to you.
Looks like a good deal tho.
