Need tire and wheel advice for my new stock TRD OR

I need some good tire/wheel advice for my new stock Trd Off Road Premium

 

I have stock sized Toto AT2's on now on stock rims and like them. Plan to replace the rims with an aftermarket copy of the TRD Pro wheel as soon as I can find the company that makes them.

 

Well.... I’m not going to lift it just yet...
Just looking for a nice aggressive look with stock suspension. Wondering what the biggest BF Goodrich AT I can squeeze under that wheel well without rubbing, and I was wondering if the TRD black or chrome center caps would fit on my stock premium wheels.

 

There are numerous threads on this same subject, one started by offroadking(more aggressive tires?). The answers to your question are many. Your usage should be determined. Off-roading or mall crawling, etc. ? As I have stated in other threads I’m a stock size proponent for various reasons, not the least of which are errors in speedometer and odometer that creep in when digressing from stock. That said you have options you could go with. The stock size on a limited will work and they are 20 inch I believe. The sidewall will be shorter obviously. I have 17 inch Pro wheels with stock size Toyo AT IIs on mine and I love the look and aggressiveness. I have no lift intentions but maybe a leveling plan in the future. So stock size works great. When you get into bigger tires for lifted vehicles then you get rubbing without modifications. Too much hassle for me. Wider tires need wider rims too. Wheel offsets much different from stock will change the stance somewhat too. The Pro rims have a different offset from stock but just enough to give the aggressive look without sticking out past the fender wells. Lifts may look cool but unless you need the extra clearance for rock crawling and serious off-road use, then that’s all they do—look cool. Lots of options so homework is essential.

I’m in the similar mindset with the lift. For what I’m using it for, there is no need for me to lift it other than the aggressive look.

I like the TRD rims..... I thought about those as well. I have the Magnetic Grey metallic TRD Off Road Premium.... I need something to make that color pop a bit. I’m adding some red accents, but the rims seem to be my biggest challenge with it. I’ve always been a Jeep guy, and used BF Goodrich AT’s on all of them. They are a bit pricey, but they wear like steel and I love them in the snow.
