I really like this forum because members are mature in their thinking and not very reactionary.

I think limited T4Rs are great. I like the all-time 4WD. If I were to get one, I'd paint over the chrome on the front bumper to make it look more like the SR5 and Offroad models.

It all comes down to personal preferences and what you intend to use the rig for.

Damn son, you're really jealous about having to take your keys out of your pocket every time you unlock/lock your doors, and start your rig huh!!! Oh an that crappy sound system in the SR5. And the heated and cooled seats. I'd be jealous too if I didn't have those things :bananadance:

Just some stuff to make mall crawling easier.
You have me at heated and cooled seats.......

The rest not so much. Although I am remedying the heated seat issue in my Tacoma this weekend. Ever since the wife got her new SR5 Premium I am super jelly of her heated seats.

Pleather was funny about 15-20 years ago, and now Toyota is selling it like it the best thing since sliced bread.

Doesn't not breath, and will never outlast leather.

My 2016 softex or whatever they call it will outlast leather. Mine still looks new after 2 years, can't say that about saggy, stretching leather.

    Maybe.
Ever had a pair of pleather hiking boots?

I always put seat covers on any ways, so I don't really care.

We have progressed a long way from the days of "pleather"
leather is skin, skin stretches and sags. I've owned vehicles with leather seats, and they stretch over time, this softex seems to be holding up very well and still looks new after 2 years and 2 kids. My observations of course

I 'd say GO FOR IT...I went from a troubled 17 Tacoma TRD to a 17 4Runner LTD and never looked back. We old guys can pull this stuff off. It's only money and we have more years behind than ahead (thank God,LOL). The only thin is Toyota is waaaaaaaaaaaay behind the tomes or stingy with extras like ACC that they put in the damn RAV 4!! WE biker types love chrome I guess........LOL
