I am considerig throwing a lift, tires and wheels on the 17 4runner. I'm looking for a good shop in the Portland area that specializes in this. Any advice?

Take a run down the 5 to Grants Pass - Mike's Custom Toys. Dude is a Toyota master and knows his stuff. It's worth the trip.

If you are on Facebook look up the PDX Overlanders group. Ask around there and you will get a ton of advice. Heck you will probably get somebody to do it for a case of beer. If I didn't work 60 hours a week and have 3 kids at home I would help you do it but I'd be lying if I said I had time to help. I really isn't that hard with some basic knowledge and hand tools. Woody's 4x4 up here in The Couve' is a good jeep shop but they will do Toyota's too. My buddy had his done at Les Schwab, no problems with it and they can do the alignment all in one shot.

I'm sure Mike's Custom Toys is a great shop they do all the installs for @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc I believe. But that is a looong drive!

What kind of lift are you looking at installing?
