HI, i've been reading for a couple days and joined,, i just bought my first 4runner.. because everyone i know says they are so reliable...
    it's a 2004 sport..2 wheel drive.. v6..

i've been reading a lot about the shocks, suspension,,etc,

i don't plan on lifting at all.. i do notice that every single bump i go over is traumatic... i suspect something to do with the shocks.. or bushings....
my question is,, is replacing only the bushings something that anyone does..or does the bushing replacement kinda go hand in hand with new shocks and struts..

i have the reas system and if i have to get new shocks and struts.. i want just disconnect the system and put regular shocks and struts... is that acceptable or does it have to come off?? also.. what economical shocks and struts would you recommend for a smooth ride ,, i keep seeing the bilsteins,, but i think thats for 4runners that are lifted and are planning on doing offroad stuff,,is that correct..

i apologize if these questions are too basic.... i just bought a subscribtion to alldatadiy,, but actually,, kinda am lost..
