    My 2019 4runner lifted on 33's, 2023 Tacoma, or 2024 Tacoma?

Looking to downsize my fleet and need a vehicle that can serve as a daily commuter, semi-monthly 600 mile road tripper, and be able to go into the woods on the weekends.

Wanting a smaller pickup with a canopy for my dog to be separate from the passenger compartment in order to cut down on dog hair everywhere.

Mileage should be around 20mpg and price around $40k.

Almost ashamed to admit that the 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X seems perfect for my needs.

    What would you choose?

It really depends on what this 2024 tacoma will be like.

I test drove a 23 frontier pro4x a few months back. It was a snug. Other then that its a nice truck

I would wait and test drive a 2024 Taco and then compare it to the Nissan and go from there.
