    Hello All,
I am new to this forum but not new to 4Runners, but am looking to see what every one is running inside their rigs for dust/water/air tight storage. I saw the ROAM boxes, but that stuff is fairly pricey. Just throwing it out there.

Don't know where you're at but there's a place in Seattle across from the OSHA office that sells hard tool cases (like when you buy a drill) for $5. I use ammo boxes (plastic) or tool boxes. Label them with acrylic paint. My portable, plug-in CB radio is in an orange tackle box. My tools and first aid kit are in a semi-large duffle bag (with lots of pockets). Multi-tool, binos, camera, spare glasses & sunglasses (I keep 2 pair) are behind the seat on a molle hanger. Gub safe is anchored to the seat mounts. I don't know how they compare in price but check out Penguin boxes on Amazon or E-bay.

Unfortunately I am out in North Carolina, but thanks for the lead. I will see if they have a similar place out here.

I have a lot of random things
    Sea to summit dry bags
    Harbor freight apaches

if it’s “inside the truck” don’t over think it

but I’ve had a lot of luck mixing camping, as in real camping(not aluminum aerospace NASA time capsules) with somewhat industrial on sale (harbor freight Plano Rubbermaid actionpackers-which are randomly back at walmart-)

lil ingenuity will go a long way

creative research such as ^bearbio^ said

If I was in your boat I’d think, what companies/manufacturers around me have high end products that they HAVE to protect but probably have so much they recycle the packaging/storage n see if they’d be willing to give you something

example…used to work for a certain hardware manufacturer
We’d get tons of bolts, nuts, washers, etc sent to us in these…

So I use something similar to that n I’ll throw a few designated dry bags in so it’s all safe n sound

My shooting/range gear and camping gear are in medium & large Rubbermaid tubs well marked with Sharpies (The wide ones) or acrylic paints from Amazon. Those, of course, don't stay in the vehicle.
